An unofficial, automated tracker of real-estate development activity in Raleigh, NC. Every day, a background job checks Raleigh's public meeting records for new rezoning, annexation, and other development-related cases, plots them on the map, and emails a digest of anything new.
Meeting agendas are pulled from the City of Raleigh's public eSCRIBE meeting portal. Case documents are parsed to extract project addresses, which are geocoded via Geoapify. The map itself uses OpenFreeMap tiles built on OpenStreetMap data.
Addresses are extracted automatically from PDF documents and may occasionally be wrong or incomplete -- always confirm details against the linked source documents before relying on this for anything official. Resolved cases (approved/denied/withdrawn) are hidden from the map by default but remain in the Table view.
